DC Fund$ is a low-interest funding source for District of Columbia residents with disabilities and seniors to purchase much needed assistive technology devices and services.


Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Persons with disabilities or their family members, guardians or advocates living in the District of Columbia can apply to for the loan

What Is the Interest Rate and Length of the Loan?
The interest rate is well below the market rate at 4%.  The length of the loan is based on the life expectancy of the equipment. Terms can range from 6 months to 5 years.


How Much Can I Borrow?

Through this program, you can borrow amounts ranging from $500 to $10,000.


What Type of Assistive Technology Can I Purchase?

Assistive technology for use in the home, community, workplace or classroom can be purchased through the loan program.  Examples include hearing aids, power wheelchairs, communication devices, computers and specialized software, home or vehicle modifications and much more.
